1. Basic Psychological Processes.
2. Experimental Methodology and Statistics.
3. Practical. 		The course in Psychology is designed as three year Bachelor of Arts programme for undergraduate students. It’s a major optional subject. The student who passes the course is supposed to show the understanding on the basic principles of Psychology and Psychological processes with the fair understanding of adhering concepts. The understanding of Psychological Theories, principles and concepts will enable students to develop comprehensive understanding of personal as well social problems and issues and come out with effective solutions related to it. The student will pass the course on Basic Psychological Learning and will be versed in the Psychological processes like sensation, attention, learning, memory and perception etc.The second paper on Experimental Methodology and Statistics will enable student to comprehend, classify, tabulate and analyze data. The student will learn how to use various statistical tools and analyze data qualitatively as well as quantitatively. The Practical in Psychology will provide pragmatic learning to analyze mental processes and use of various research tools after he/she finishes the course.

The student when learns the course on Psychopathology will be able to understand the different types of anxieties and disorders, formulation of case with the help of psychological test and also develop familiarity with clinical course related to illness. The second paper on Social Psychology will develop in students the understanding of Human society and inculcate in students the sense to accommodate in all spheres of life. The Practical in Psychology will provide pragmatic learning to analyze mental processes and use of various research tools after he/she finishes the course.

The understanding of Psychological Theories, principles and concepts will enable students to develop comprehensive understanding of personal as well social problems and issues and come out with effective solutions related to it. The course in Psychological Measurement and Test will enable student to learn about the understanding and application of testing in Psychology. The student learns various steps formulated in Psychological test. The second paper on Counselling and Guidance is important as it has scope of employability for students in various institutes, hospitals etc.The student is made to understand and evaluate counseling theories and apply on outside world. The Practical is also related to impart comprehensive and hands on practice to use various Psychological tools.
