My warm and heartiest welcome to the members of Government Post graduate College, Noida; simultaneously I also welcome the visitors of this website. It gives me immense pleasure to address and share with you the development, growth and progress of my college, since the time it has been established. The college is situated in the heart of the city. This area is rapidly transforming into the hub of cosmopolitan culture. Visualizing the things from this backdrop, it is often expected from the college fraternity, to raise the standards of the college, in terms of infrastructure, modern facilities and placement of the students ,such that it competes with the modern educational institutions of Delhi and NCR.To meet thischallenge, I as a Principal strive to undertake those progressive activities which would model the college on the modern,tech - friendly lines, hence enabling to establish it as a modern college, serving and catering the educational needs of young boys and girls coming from the rural pockets of the city. This dream of mine can be realized through Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) and Rashtriya Ucchattar Shiksha Abhiyan(RUSA). The effective functioning of IQAC will provide platform to both teachers and students to voice their opinion, debate and discuss on the areas pertaining to their respectivedisciplines, as well as topics beyond the disciplines. It will be a platform which will converge the diverse thought into a consensus, or will create scope for the further flow of divergent thoughts, thus promoting truly intellectual tradition on democratic lines within the campus. If I succeed in implementing the projects I aspire for, surely Government Postgraduate College Noida shall graduate as ‘Centre of Excellence’. Thus with this aspiration, I invite all my students, staff members, alumni and parents to join in this journey, and together we shall shape the future of the young generation.
